By opting in to receive SMS messages from Anhad Health Inc.  (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (Terms).

SMS Messaging Service

By providing my phone number, I consent to receive SMS text messages from Anhad heath Inc.  

 

1. Purpose

This policy establishes guidelines for the appropriate use of text messaging to communicate with patients while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining professionalism in patient interactions.

 

2. Scope

 

This policy applies to all healthcare providers, administrative staff, and patients who opt-in to receive text messages from Anhad Health Inc.

3. Privacy Policy

Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy 

4. Consent and Opt-In or opt-out Requirements

Patients must provide written or electronic consent [here] before receiving text messages.

Consent will be documented in the patient’s records.

Patients will be receiving prefilled Text messages like " Anhad Health Inc". Please Reply Yes to consent to Text messaging services. Msg & Data rates apply & Frequency may vary. Reply HELP for more information or STOP to opt-out.

Patients may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” or notifying the office.

Patients may send text messages at any time by replying “Help” for further information.

Patient consent is not required to purchase any services or PHI information.

5. Message Frequency:

Costs: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates apply.

 

6. Permitted Uses of Text Messaging

Appointment reminders and scheduling updates

General health tips and wellness information

Urgent but non-emergency communications

Billing and payment notifications

 

7. Prohibited Uses of Text Messaging

Anhad Health INC would NOT use the messaging system for:

Sharing sensitive personal health information (PHI) unless through secure, encrypted platforms

Emergency medical situations

Detailed medical or nutritional consultations or diagnoses or interventions.

Sending promotional or marketing content without prior patient consent.

Or selling to a third party.

 

8. Security and Compliance

Text messages must comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.

No confidential patient information should be sent via unencrypted text messages.

Staff must use approved communication systems when necessary.

We may disclose your information if required by law or administrative order; to assert claims or rights or to defend against claims.

 

9. Patient Responsibilities

Patients must provide consent to send or receive text messages.

The patient should update their contact information with the office to ensure proper communication.

Patients must understand that standard text messaging may not be fully secure, and they assume responsibility for any risks.

10. Staff Responsibilities

Staff must verify patient consent before sending any messages.

Messages must be professional, concise, and relevant.

​11. Policy Violations

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary actions for staff and termination of text messaging services for patients who misuse the system.
